The JSA has finally found Dr. Fate's tower, which has holes in the sides. Inside, they find Nabu inhabiting the helmet but missing a body and some memories. In the 5th Dimension, Thunderbolt is leading what is left of the losing side of a war. Mordru tricks Shazam into freeing him, just as the Spectre approaches with the defeated Billy Batson. Nabu creates a portal to the 5th dimension for the JSA so they can search for the missing Jakeem Thunder. Only a few make it through when Mordru shows up and attacks Nabu, leaving some members in each dimension.Hector and Lyta Hall are lost in mountains, wherever Spectre sent them, without powers, being chased strange creatures.
