Iron Man, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. has fallen in battle with the Hulk, punishment for having sent the Hulk away into space and for having inadvertently brought disaster to the savage world of Sakaar when the Hulk's shuttle detonated.But Tony's absence has thrown S.H.I.E.L.D. into chaos. as the only one with the 'big picture', Tony is the only one who knows what plans and contingencies he might have had to implement. Many of the agents under his command, unhappy with the way Tony is running the agency, see this as an opportunity to return things to the way they should be, and to tackle the Hulk on their own terms.Caught in between is Dum-Dum Dugan, a longtime S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with a strong sense of duty.
