At times, the task of reigning in the new, wild forces of the Ninth Age of Magic seems to be never ending. Just as the Shadowpact returns to the Oblivion Bar from stopping the Houngan and his army of zombies, they find they have to set out to stop some magical bank robbers who have taken hostages. In an attempt to accomplish more, the team splits up.
