Decades after the outbreak that transformed the heroes of the Marvel Universe into zombies, they return to Earth to find something completely unexpected... human life! Having survived aboard Asteroid M, under the leadership of the Black Panther, the remnants of humanity have returned to Earth to start again. But in an attack on his life, the Black Panther was mortally wounded. The only thing that saved him was a bite from the Zombie Wasp, transforming him also into a zombie.But things are different. With time, the zombies' hunger passes allowing them to continue without the need to consume other living things. This realization divides the Zombies into two camps... one which wants to turn humanity into a free-for-all buffet, and one that seeks to defend humanity against the curse of the undead.
