A date between Kate and Eli ends almost before it begins when it is interrupted by Ronin. Kate is invited to the new Avengers headquarters to show Ronin what she can do with her bow, and loses a contest to the unrivaled master marksman. Having let down the entire team in more ways than one, she needs to figure out how to deal with the life ahead of her.
