Hal Jordan faces off against Larfleeze, only to find he doesn't know enough about the way the blue and orange lights operate to be truly effective in battle. Still, he manages to divert enough of Larfleeze's attention to draw the rest of the Guardians to him. Meanwhile, Ash and Saarek awaken an even greater threat.
