Rigging a car to roll over, Catwoman intercepts the transport carrying Jonathan Crane, the Scarecrow, who has worked a number on her mind. She liberates him only to discover that he placed hypnotic blocks so that can incapacitate her with a few words. But before he kills her, the sirens sound and he flees. Catwoman determines to leave for Hong Kong under an alias, but realizes if she flees, Scarecrow wins. So she hits gym in Little Cuba instead, taking a beating to help her focus. Then she visits the Penguin. In exchange for a rare bird for his aviary, and the photographs Catwoman has of the mayor's wife, he'll find Scarecrow for her. Scarecrow's next at the mayor's office, where he has incapacitated the staff with fear toxin. Catwoman appears. He tries the hypnotic triggers but she's too angry for those to work. She plans to take him completely apart, and explore what he's afraid of. He leaps through a window to escape, but becomes tangled in a tree - the move works better in the movies. Finally, Catwoman returns to the gym to ask the old fighter how he knows when to hang up the gloves. He tells her what he tells his fighters "get out while you're young and powerful". But what if it's the only thing you know how to do? Then... you're in trouble...
