After seeing what he saw on the other side of the river Darrian decided to return to New York, albeit a different part of the city altogether. He was hoping to find a bit of solitude so he went to a bar he wouldn't normally go to. He meets two girls, Faith and Charity, and is having a strange conversation with them until Jaynis shows up with Adelle. This prompts Darrian to decide it's time to leave. He's walking through the town when he "surprisingly" runs into Dawn. She has quite the present for him, Lucifer's Halo, apparently she doesn't want to give it back to Ahura Mazda. However, Darrian doesn't know it's Lucifer's. An angel from Heaven confront's Darrian after Dawn leaves and tries to take the halo from him. Things don't go as planned and Darrian ends up doing something he does not wish to do. After that incident Darrian has to fend off some demon's who also want something from him.
