Rasputin, a man who prophesied doom, tries to prevent the unveiling of the statue Fangor, which was meant to be the culmination of all of mankind's evil. Using his empowered tavistick, Rasputin brings the statue to life. Fortunately, Tony Stark is one of the crowd of onlookers on hand for the unveiling, so he quickly dons his armor to deal with the menace. He manages to defeat the statue, but never learns of Rasputin's involvement. Fortunately, Rasputin dispatches himself by carelessly running out in front of a police car. Later, when wallowing in self pity, he bemoans his drinker partner for his likely inability to accept magic. The man he's talking to is revealed to be Dr. Stephen Strange, Master of the Mystic Arts, who encourages Rasputin to "cheer up, man. There's always tomorrow!"
