Reed, Ben, Crystal and Johnny have pursued Dr. Doom to Latveria where he deprived them of their powers by hypnotizing them. Only the timely arrival of the Invisible Woman has saved them from a devastating bomb placed by the monarch in the small village outside the royal castle. Now, the Fantastic Four hurtle towards a confrontation with their long-time foe.

But to give them added motivation, Doom uses a hidden trap door to abduct Sue and Crystal, holding them hostage.
