Engaged in a training exercise against Jericho, the Teen Titans are startled when Raven suddenly appears. Thinking it is part of the game Jericho attempts to possess her, only she vanishes in an explosion which knocks him unconscious. All of the Titans are concerned about Raven’s recent behavior, and but she refuses their aid and announces that she is leaving the team.

That night, a determined Jericho enters her room and possesses her as she sleeps. He finds himself in the horrific dimension that Raven’s father, Trigon, had been banished, encountering her mother, Arella. Trigon is angered at Jericho’s penetration of his realms, and attempts to destroy him. Raven intervenes, allowing Trigon to take her over. Raven’s scream alerts the other Titans, and the rush to her room to find it empty except for her rings and a terrified Jericho in her place.
