The Super-Villains of the world are forming into two groups. One is over 200 members strong, and the other is but six. Still, the six have a plan that will net them a continent each if they succeed.
This issue marks the beginning of a six-part limited series that serves as a prelude to DC Comics' Infinite Crisis event. In the storyline, Lex Luthor assembles the Secret Society of Super-Villains to consolidate power among the world's villains. Opposing this, a mysterious figure known as Mockingbird recruits six villains—Catman, Deadshot, Cheshire, Ragdoll, Scandal Savage, and Parademon—to form the Secret Six. Their mission is to undermine the Society's plans and assert their own autonomy.
The narrative explores themes of loyalty, identity, and the blurred lines between heroism and villainy, as the Secret Six navigate internal conflicts and external threats. The issue sets the stage for the unfolding drama in the Infinite Crisis saga.
