Bart Allen wrestles with the Speed Force, contained within his body as well as his fate. After a talk with Cyborg, he finds himself a step closer to taking up the mantle of the Flash. But two events spur him into action: the abduction of Jay Garrick, the original Flash and the sudden disappearance of Valerie Perez, whom Bart was growing very close to.
