Peter's back from an alternate universe, though he isn't convinced he's come back to the right one. J. Jonah Jameson Jr., former publisher of the Daily Bugle and longtime thorn in Peter's side, has somehow managed to win a special mayoral election, and is now in a position to become a major thorn in Peter's side. Peter decides to return the favour.
