Nick Fury and Agent Brand explain about S.W.O.R.D. and thier involvement in this. The confusion is enough for Ord to escape, however, and he takes Tildie with him. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not ready to take down Ord's craft, but Wolverine and Colossus are ready to perform a fastball special. With Wolverine on Ord's ship, the craft comes down relatively intact, with Tildie safe, but with Ord and Dr. Rao's research very heavily damaged. Fury assures the team that Agent Brand will be properly dealt with for her role in all of this, and then departs, leaving the team to reassimilate Colossus.
