Catwoman is in the time out room. She's not eating or moving. She's inside her childhood, remembering her parents fighting, her mother's suicide, her father's eventual death from alcoholism. She left home, fell in with a gang of young thieves, got caught and got sent to a juvenile home. And she remembers what happened next: she escaped! That motivates her, and when the guards bring her breakfast, she jumps them, steals a uniform, and then a knife from a guard's ankle sheath. She demands the warden... she'll do anything to escape!
