Carol's pregnancy comes to an end as she gives birth to the baby's father. Time is messed up around Avengers mansion, while the boy ages rapidly and creates a machine for an unknown purpose. It is only after the machine is destroyed that he explains his origins and how he came to impregnate Carol without her knowledge or consent, capping off what is easily the most unintentionally disturbing issue of the entire series.
