Following the events of last issue, Scully is desperate to find Mulder and goes to the only person that can possibly help: Kite, the last surviving member of Project Stargate. Crocket, the mysterious operative who has been tracking the agents for months, comes to Mulder's rescue with a warning: leave now or die. If Mulder leaves he abandons his search for the truth, if he stays then he will be killed for the truth that he uncovers.
