Empress S`Byll is restoring the Skrulls to their shapeshifting glory when they are accosted by an army of invisible Badoon. In the midst of this assault, the Stranger comes to collect S`Byll for her rare mutation. The Silver Surfer and Kl`Rt fight to protect her and do so unsuccessfully. It is Reptyl who saves her, by trading members of his crew with more interesting mutations for her. The Stranger accepts, and Reptyl sides with the Skrull empire, unaware that his lackey Clumsy Foulup has sided with the Kree. The message from the plants finally gets through to Shalla Bal, who realizes that Nenora is actually a Skrull in disguise.
