Adrian Toomes, the original Vulture, returns to New York seeking revenge and determined to prove that he’s still a deadly threat despite his age. When Peter Parker catches wind of the Vulture’s reappearance, Spider-Man races to intercept him.
Toomes launches a bold daylight assault, luring Spider-Man into a deadly trap: an industrial furnace chamber designed to incinerate him alive. While Spider-Man is chained down and struggling to break free, Toomes uses the opportunity to settle old scores and gloat about his past defeats.
Meanwhile, Peter’s personal life weighs on his mind, and he’s forced to balance his responsibilities as Spider-Man with the emotional toll of those around him. As the furnace’s heat builds, Spider-Man manages a desperate escape, confronting the Vulture in midair in a classic aerial showdown.
The battle ends with Spider-Man outsmarting the aging villain and saving himself from certain death — but the encounter underscores a chilling truth: though Toomes is old, he’s still as dangerous as ever.

Condition & Grading Notes:
Front cover shows very light corner folding with minimal wear. Back cover has some visible creasing and light folding at the corners. Interior pages show slight top-corner folds throughout but remain fully attached at the center staples. There is a minor spine roll, but overall structure is tight and sound. No tears, staining, or detachment observed. The book presents well for its age and should maintain its condition if properly bagged and boarded. |
