This issue contains at least two stories:

“The Devil’s Partner”: An alien warlord called the Marauder captures a space wanderer, brainwashes him into the guise of “the Devil” (named Rol-Nac) and sends him to Earth to battle Superman. Rol-Nac is later revealed to have ties to Krypton and even to Superman’s family in a flashback scenario.

“The Forbidden Fruit”: A backup tale from the 30th-century team Legion of Super‑Heroes. Timber Wolf falls under the influence of a rare Lotus fruit distributed by a malicious doctor; his friend Light Lass helps uncover the plot and rescue him.
