"KnightsEnd, Part 2: The Tengu" — This issue continues the KnightsEnd saga. Bruce Wayne, freshly returned to Gotham and determined to reclaim the mantle of Batman, begins intensive retraining under the guidance of the mysterious ninja master, Lady Shiva. In this chapter, Bruce dons a Tengu mask and is forced into violent confrontation with expert martial artists, some of whom have been trained by Shiva herself. The goal: to push Bruce beyond his physical and psychological limits as he prepares to challenge Jean-Paul Valley (Azrael), the man who replaced him as Batman.
