In a dystopian future Earth (Earth-691, year 2018), freedom fighter Killraven and his small band of rebels battle the Martian invaders who now rule much of Earth. In this issue, titled “The Sirens of 7th Ave,” Killraven and his comrades — including newcomers Hawk, M’Shulla and Arrow — confront a trio of seductive “Sirens” working for the Martians who lure men into danger. After surviving a mutant ambush in Manhattan’s Grand Central Station and destroying a Martian tripod with a hijacked ferry, Killraven returns to his base only to be captured by Skarlet, queen of the Sirens. Transported to Madison Square Garden, he is forced into a gladiatorial arena where he must battle the mutant Slasher. Ultimately he frees his fellow Freemen and vows to continue the war against the Martian tyrants.
