The Silver Surfer once again attempts to leave Earth. This time, he travels to Latveria and bargains with Doctor Doom for help escaping the planet. Doom seemingly offers to help but has his own hidden agenda. Meanwhile, Shalla-Bal appears to the Surfer in visions, reminding him of the world he longs for. Ultimately, Doom betrays him, and the Surfer must fight his way out of Latveria, reaffirming his vow to remain free despite being trapped on Earth.
