In Nazi Germany, Logan (Wolverine) and Zannah (a WildC.A.T.s member) independently attempt to recover an ancient artifact called the Lazarus Scroll from Nazis allied with the Daemonites. Their solo efforts fail, so they reluctantly team up. They recover the Scroll, but are confronted by a Daemonite-infected Nazi. Zannah kills the Daemonite, then incapacitates Logan and takes the Scroll. Later, they cross paths again in Vienna, where Logan helps Zannah in securing passage on a train.
