The X-Men investigate the disappearance of a young mutant, which seems linked to a British Hellfire Club branch. Simultaneously, the WildC.A.T.s suspect the Club is colluding with Daemonites. Nightcrawler and Warblade clash in the Club’s mansion reconnaissance. Emp invites Jacob Marlowe to join the Club, taking Spartan and Voodoo—only for them to be ambushed. Both teams converge at the mansion, battle Hellfire + Daemonite forces, and discover Emp and the mutant boy are to be sacrificed to summon a demon. After a fierce fight, Emp and the boy are rescued, the demonic ritual fails and the Club mansion is destroyed by a vortex. Jean Grey and Void help save both teams. Tensions remain: the X-Men are uneasy with the Wildcats’ lethal tactics.
