His stasis pod having crashed in a field, Supreme believes he has returned to Earth, but his memory is spotty. He recalls destroying the mining operation on Osiris Rho and his subsequent battle with the assassin Vergessen. After Vergessen’s accidental suicide, he tracked down the assassin’s employer, Chi. They battled across the landscape of Chi’s estate until Chi lured him into a cave behind a waterfall. Inside, Supreme was seemingly confronted by the undead corpse of Father Beam, the man he killed before leaving Earth decades earlier. Initially distraught, Supreme figured Beam was probably Chi in disguise and incinerated him. Afterward, he went to the planet Li-Tep but found it laid waste. Now, he wakes up in the flying truck of a farmer headed toward a futuristic city. Supreme asks what planet he is on, and the farmer says Earth. In the skies above Washington, D.C., the new Supreme is intercepted by Kid Supreme. He is about to reveal how he is not the original Supreme when he and Kid Supreme both turn into women.
