While shopping in Georgia with Monica Lynne, T’Challa (in full Panther costume) and Monica are stalked by two Klan members and attacked in a grocery store. After he saves a white customer who drops items, she lashes out against him. Local police arrive but turn on the Black Panther. The issue ends with T’Challa discovering that the Klan is convening in a nearby swamp, and he infiltrates their meeting, where crosses burn and he is brutally beaten and tied to a cross.
