Story Title: “...And Only One Shall Survive!”
Spider-Man faces the terrifying Morbius, the Living Vampire, in a brutal rooftop showdown.
The story begins with Morbius once again ravaging the city, driven by his insatiable thirst for blood. Spider-Man intervenes to stop him before more innocents are hurt. Their battle takes place on rooftops and construction scaffolding, both trading blows and webs under the night sky.
Meanwhile, Morbius struggles against his own nature — his humanity flickering beneath the monstrous hunger. Spider-Man realizes he isn’t just fighting a villain but a tragic figure trapped between man and monster.
The clash intensifies as Morbius threatens bystanders, forcing Spider-Man to make a desperate move. The final confrontation ends with Morbius falling into the river below, seemingly defeated, but leaving the door open for his return.
The issue closes with Peter Parker once again reflecting on the thin line between hero and monster, as Morbius slips into the shadows of New York.
