Cyclops heads to Alaska to check on Maddie and the baby, but he discovers that all records of her have been destroyed and the business sold. Just as he's doubting his own sanity, he finds Nathaniel's rattle, and decides to hunt in earnest. Unfortunately, he does not realize that he is also being hunted.
