Decades ago, a callous government forced a ring-wiekding guardian and a scarlet speedster to team up against an "alien menace."

Green Lantern and Flash put their differences aside and discovered the enemy sometimes does not come from without. The friendship formed that day has spanned the years.

Now that same slien has abducted the Golden Age heroes. The new Green Lantern and Flash must join forces to save their original counterparts - even if it means defeating them - and, hopefully, the world.
