The Heroes' friends have been taken! Someone delivers a mysterious package - the Power Gem of Quor! It steals Danny's soul, leaving him dying, and then flies off. The Heroes and their allies must discover where Fist's soul has been taken, but they're on the right track: they know Ward Meachum is involved and suspect he answers to Master Khan. They visit Rand-Meachum, where Danny can sense his soul. They burst in, as inside Misty and D. W. are escaping! Splitting up finds Luke confronting Shades and Comanche, while Danny must take on Fera! But Fera does not wish to kill Danny until he is once again the Iron Fist, so she leads him to his soul! Luke defeats his evil pair by pushing a column onto them, as Danny reaches the Power Gem and begins to reclaim his soul. But Master Khan isn't having any of that! He begins to kill Danny when Luke bursts in. Khan cannot take then both at the same time. Worse for him, Fera uses his distraction to seize the Amulet of Shirrar, through which he controls her. Now he has lost her service! And Danny smashes the Power Gem! With it gone, Khan fades back to K'un Lun and Danny recovers his soul. And for her freedom, Fera leaves without further fighting. Misty discovers Ward Meachum skulking about, and when his daughter refuses to vouch for him, the police haul him away!
