Captain Atom is stranded in Emperor Nero's time with the detonator. Meanwhile, the alien invaders put Monarch and two other soldiers in suspended animation to retrieve the device needed for transport. Hank agrees to help for the revenge, not realizing success means the destruction of the Earth.
