After a period of rest on a small asteroid, Supreme returns to Earth. In Washington, D.C., a teenager named Danny Fuller is on a school field trip and recalls that days earlier, he was caught in an explosion that granted him superpowers (strength, invulnerability, flight). Meanwhile, Supreme visits the grave of Louise Masters and flashes back to rescuing her from the Chicago mob in 1947. He vows to go after the mafia again and sets course. Maxine Winslow spots him visiting her father’s grave the same night. The next day, Patch is found gravely wounded in an alley and in his dying breath claims Pug, a mobster, was behind his attack. Danny Fuller, hoping to impress Youngblood, bursts into Pug’s office demanding answers and knocks out the mob’s thugs. Simultaneously, Supreme arrives to confront Tony Twist and faces off against Overt-Kill, their violent battle spilling into the streets.
