Simple Simon possesses the body of an alternate-timeline Supreme and wreaks havoc at Fort Myerson, slaughtering U.S. Army soldiers. The real Supreme arrives with the Starguard and is shocked to see Simon in a near-perfect duplicate form. As the Starguard fights, Probe investigates Simon’s original comatose body at Grizlock’s hideout under Fort Knox. At Fort Myerson, Simon beats the Starguard and tries to crush Supreme with a boulder, but the alternate Supreme’s consciousness forces Simon out of the body. Restored, the alternate Supreme joins Supreme in battle, while Probe disables Simon’s mind-transference device, ending the ordeal. The alternate Supreme then returns to his own timeline, and the Starguard depart.
